He is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and trained in Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute and as a yoga teacher with the Himalayan Institute. Taylor has been inspired by being the parent of a son with developmental disabilities and supported by forty years of meditation practice. He maintains a private movement therapy practice in Pittsburgh and served as board president of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA) from 2014 to March 2017.
